The California Cannabis Awards Celebrates Prop 215
Join us on July 18, 2026 in Sacramento for a Special California Cannabis Awards an exciting event during the California Cannabis Experience exhibit at the California State Fair.
For five years, the California Cannabis Awards has honored the growers, makers, innovators, and visionaries shaping the Golden State’s cannabis culture.
This year brings a new category of “Home Grow – Personal Use” where hobby growers from across the State will win recognition, medals, and, for one, the coveted Golden Bear trophy for “Best in California.”
Prop 215 Tribute and Lifetime Achievement Award
The awards ceremony on July 18 will celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Compassionate Use Act/Prop. 215, California’s landmark ballot measure that made our state the first to legalize medical marijuana in 1996.
The “Prop 215 Freedom Fighters” will be awarded, collectively, the Pebbles Trippet Lifetime Achievement Award.

The California Cannabis Experience runs from July 17–August 2, 2026
Included again this year is the cannabis consumption lounge where attendees may purchase and consume California-grown cannabis.
