The Green Cross (TGC) has served San Francisco since 2004, making it the city’s longest-operating licensed cannabis dispensary and one of California’s true industry pioneers. Located at 4218 Mission Street in the Excelsior District, we provide adult-use and medical cannabis in a welcoming, professional environment with a carefully curated selection of California-tested products and an experienced team focused on helping each customer find the right fit.

From helping shape early local regulations to participating in the first day of legal adult-use sales in San Francisco, The Green Cross has played a meaningful role in the evolution of safe, legal cannabis access. We are proud to operate as San Francisco’s last remaining nonprofit cannabis retailer — a reflection of our deep commitment to community, fairness, and responsible business practices.
